Four ready-made workflows you can run with a single slash command in a connected AI assistant. Each one runs a guided, multi-step session — your assistant does the work, and shows you anything before it changes it.
Open an assistant that's connected to Wise Penny (see Connect Claude or Connect ChatGPT) and type one of:
/wisepenny:plan/wisepenny:monthly_analysis/wisepenny:checkin/wisepenny:review_categories/wisepenny:planHelps you decide what to track. Your assistant asks what you're working toward — a savings goal, cutting back on a category, or just better visibility — then proposes the budgets, goals, and rules to match. Nothing is saved until you approve it.
When to use it: you just connected your accounts, or you're not sure where to start.
/wisepenny:monthly_analysisRecaps last month: total spending, your biggest changes versus your recent average, budgets you went over, and subscriptions that started, stopped, or changed price. It ends with a short list of cleanups you can take or skip.
When to use it: the start of a new month, or any time you want a “how did that go?” recap.
/wisepenny:checkinA quick status read: how you're pacing against your budgets, whether you're on track for your goals, and what's moved since last month.
When to use it: any “am I on track this month?” moment.
/wisepenny:review_categoriesGoes through the categories you care about and finds transactions filed in the wrong place — including “transfers” that are really spending, like a Venmo to a friend. It proposes fixes, and can turn them into rules so they stay right going forward.
When to use it: your spending breakdown looks off, or a budget total seems wrong.
